We are looking for a people and customer focused leader to join our team as Branch Operations Lead at our Athabasca branch.Ā  This position will report to the branch manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team with passion, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and a positive employee experienceĀ 

  • Oversee and provide hands‑on support for rental inquiries, deliveries, returns, customer damage assessments, and equipment service and repair activitiesĀ 

  • Ensure all rental contracts are completed accurately and processed in a timely mannerĀ 

  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure needs are consistently met, fostering long‑term business partnershipsĀ 

  • Maintain accurate on‑site inventory records and ensure proper documentationĀ 

  • Uphold yard organization, safety, and cleanliness, driving efficient and safe daily operationsĀ 

  • Collaborate with fellow branch leaders to ensure customer needs are met across the entire branch networkĀ 

  • Assist the Branch Manager in managing branch operating costs, including labor, maintenance, repairs, and other expenses essential to business operations

  • Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring all safety policies are adhered to on a consistent basisĀ 

Qualification and Requirements:

  • A mature professional who leads by example and brings a consistently positive, solutions‑focused mindset

  • Proven experience guiding a diverse team, including mechanics, yard personnel, inside sales, and delivery drivers

  • Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Collaborative team player who understands the importance of supporting the broader organization, including assisting other locations when needed to meet customer demandĀ 

  • Comfortable and proficient with technology, using digital tools to streamline daily tasks and decision‑makingĀ 

  • Experience in the equipment rental industry, dealership environment, or a related field is considered an assetĀ 

  • Mechanical aptitude is an advantageĀ 

  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a comparable role or relevant industry

Salary:Ā 

$70k to $90k per year, depending on experience
