What makes a telehandler the right choice?

A telehandler — or telescopic handler — combines the reach of a crane with the versatility of a forklift, all in a rough terrain package. The telescoping boom extends forward and upward simultaneously, allowing you to place loads precisely at height and distance in a single movement. Unlike a standard forklift which only lifts straight up, a telehandler can reach over obstacles, place materials on elevated floors or rooftops, and operate on the uneven ground common to Northern Alberta worksites.

With four-wheel drive and all-terrain tyres as standard, our telehandler fleet handles the mud, snow, gravel, and rough ground that come with the territory in this region.

Choosing the right capacity

Under 10,000 lb units are well suited to commercial construction, framing, and general material handling where loads are moderate and site access may be tighter. More compact and easier to manoeuvre on constrained sites.

10,000 lb to 15,000 lb units handle heavier structural materials, large precast components, pipe bundles, and industrial equipment. The right choice for larger construction projects, oilfield facilities, and heavy industrial applications where load weights are consistently higher.
