We are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as a Yard Coordinator at our High Prairie branch. This position will report to the Branch Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Staging and organizing of equipment on company property

• Loading, unloading, fueling and washing of equipment

• Inspection and servicing of equipment as necessary prior to rental to ensure equipment meets operational specifications

• Delivery and pick up of equipment & accessories to customers at their location

• Responsible for conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and minor adjustments to ensure equipment is safe and ready for rental.

• Inspection of equipment upon return for any damage or loss

• Assist in identifying equipment issues early and reporting more complex repairs to the service department.

• Maintain and document on-site inventories; strong commitment to inventory control required

• Maintain and Track all rental equipment and service/repair issues related to the rental fleet

• Develop relationships to become a reliable contact for customer inquiries

• Represent Falcon Rentals in a professional manner at all times

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Front counter and customer service duties; communicate professionally & effectively

• Rent equipment and related items & process rental contracts as per standard operating procedures

• Coverage as required for other staff absences and other duties and responsibilities as required
  
  

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the customer service/retail industry, preferably in the rental industry

• Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic services on rental equipment.

• Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent

• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract, Class 3 considered an asset

• Customer service oriented, a self starter, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment with strict deadlines

• Effective communication skills with the ability to follow verbal directions as well as written company and safety procedures

• Demonstrates a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Can work autonomously or together with a team and provide each other support as required to meet business and customer needs

• Flexibility to be on call for after hours customer support

• Proficiency with computers; knowledge of equipment or inventory software is a definite asset

• Safety oriented mindset: First Aid, TDG, H2S would be an asset

Salary: 

$21-$30 / hour, dependent on experience.
